Schools - October 16th Harford County AES class and October 21st Valley Forge, PA, A.R.I.D.E "Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement" are full. Contact us to host a school for your agency. Ask us about our
new programs "The Enhanced Impaired Driving Taskforce", "Operation Extra Eyes" and Gator-aid program.. These are the
latest techniques that utilize multiple traffic safety techniques,
supported by civilian personnel, into outstanding results.
This course
provides a comprehensive approach to alcohol enforcement, education
and deterrence. It starts with the methodology of identifying
the problem in your area and provides the student with several
proven techniques that they will be able to use in their enforcement
efforts. By combining our power point presentations with realistic
scenarios, the student is able to maximize learning efficiency.
Several of the programs have been modeled by enforcement agencies
across the nation and are endorsed by the National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration. Although there are a variety of topics
available, the program can be tailored to fit your agency's needs.
The program
begins with identifying the problem. Participants are encouraged
to discuss their successes and obstacles. One of the core programs
is the Controlled Dispersal of Underage Alcohol Parties. This
class teaches how to safely and efficiently disperse underage
parties using proven enforcement techniques and limited resources.
Another important class is Compliance Checks of Retail Establishments.
This presentation will show you how to set up a compliance program
that is both fair to the retailers and effective at reducing
youth access to alcohol. A third important area is the Detection
of the Youth Impaired Driver. This teaches enforcement personnel
the detection clues specific to the youth impaired driver. Other
classes are working with community coalitions, new and club drugs,
detection of false identification, program funding sources, school
and community education, working with colleges, taskforces, working
with the media and special enforcement programs.
After
the completion of this training program, the student will have
the knowledge and skills necessary to make an immediate impact
on alcohol related problems in your area. Our instructors are
certified by the Maryland Police Training Commission and are
partners with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency
Prevention. This Alcohol Enforcement Specialist School has already
made a positive impacts on several agencies across the nation
that have already received the training.
