The core
group of instructors for the N.A.E.T.C. is Tom Didone,
Dave Falcinelli, Bill Morrison and Linda Neudorfer.
We are all active-duty police officers in Montgomery County,
Md. In different capacities, we have played a key role in the
development and implementation of our department's comprehensive
alcohol enforcement and education program. Many of the programs
we developed have been modeled on a national level. Additionally,
Jay Gruber from the University of Maryland is the lead
instructor and curriculum development coordinator for our Collegiate
Education, Enforcement and Prevention Programs. Michael Rose,
from the Prince George's County Police Department, lends his
expertise in N.H.T.S.A. Training Courses and Traffic Safety Program
design.
As a group,
we are committed to providing your agency with the highest level
of alcohol enforcement training available anywhere in the United
States. Our instructors are certified by N.H.T.S.A. and the Maryland
Police and Corrections Training Commission. Our Maryland Alcohol
Enforcement Specialist Program is approved for in-service credit,
and other states have used our program to receive training credits
as well.
Our basic
philosophy dictates that the misuse of alcohol is a community
problem and must be addressed through a comprehensive strategic
plan. There are obstacles and unique challenges for each community,
but we are prepared to help you use traditional and innovative
techniques in a comprehensive plan suited for your needs. Unlike
some training agencies, our instructors actually conduct alcohol
enforcement on a regular basis allowing us to bring the most
current techniques to the students. If you have further questions,
please give us a call.
